Founder's Profile

Dipankar Chakrabarti has retired from PwC India as the Executive Director and Chief Data officer. He was instrumental in setting up the data office for PwC India. Dipankar has more than 30 years of experience in Systems & Management Consultancy and execution of technical projects, with a specific focus on digital transformation, cloud computing, quality management, process optimization and e-Commerce enablement. He headed quality and risk management of advisory lines of services of PwC India for 8 years. He established AWS alliance and AWS engineering practice for PwC India. Dipankar had initially joined the Performance Improvement practice of PwC India as a Managing Consultant at the Kolkata office. He was member of Technology Steering Committee and Technology Risk Management committee of PwC India and was sponsor for CMMI L5 for Dev and SVC. He set up business compliance and ethics program for PwC India.

Before joining PwC, Dipankar was Business Excellence Leader and Chief Information Officer of metaljunction services limited.

Dipankar had a passion for teaching and could find time to become adjunct professor of Jadavpur University, IIM Lucknow and IIM Ranchi at different points of time.

He has multiple professional white paper and conference paper publications, and three publications in prestigious peer-reviewed academic journals.

Dipankar served as member of Board of Governance of Govt. College of Engineering & Ceramic Technology and currently serving in the Academic Council of University of Engineering and Management, Kolkata

Dipankar is a well-known speaker on different emerging technology subjects.

Dipankar has always been passionate to learn new things. He completed his PhD from IIM Ranchi. He had published three case studies which were well appreciated. He has continuously shown academic excellence throughout his academic and professional career and completing multiple certification courses are demonstrations of his strive for academic excellence.

Dipankar is avid traveler. His passion is off-beat travels.
